Istanbul not Constantinople

So, I have seen a lot in Turkey so far. I was surprised when I learned that Istanbul used to be called Constantinople. I always thought that Constantinople was the name of a famous Italian pizza diner in Europe. I am so disappointed! But our next stop is Greece and I can't wait! I love Greek mythology. Some of my best buddies love Greek mythology as well. One of those friends went back to Poland for a month. She will return to the States while I am on this trip. I haven't seen her since her last day of school! I miss my friends and extended family so much! I have finished a mini-goal here in Turkey: to eat Turkish delight. Yay! I, having been here for 4 days, strongly feel that the drivers here in Istanbul, Turkey should take driving lessons!!!!!!! I am very glad that my home in the U.S.A. is safe.
